You and me and sometimes white rice!
Oct. 25th, 2012 05:15 pmOhkura has restarted Kurasumasu on j-web! Angel
enshinge is translating on her journal! The subtitle is hilarious: you and me and sometimes white rice.

This Janiben with Kawakita Mayuko was just too funny. The English confessions, of course, but also Subaru funny being harsh, and Hina yelling at the audience. XD
From 2012.10.11 Janiben.
First Ryo with his impression of an American.

Then Ohkura stumbles out with his version:

And finally, Maru, to the tune of Queen, "We Will Rock You"!

TakiTsuba is back!
Sep. 1st, 2012 08:34 pmI'm excited for T&T's anniversary album and the promotion that's going along with it. Friday's Music Station was fun! And there was a cm for the album. There was also a mention on CDTV from 12.08.25.

And then Eito's Aoppana single is coming even before T&T!

My whining confirmed by Eito!
Sep. 26th, 2011 09:42 pmAaaand.... just a couple of weeks after my rant about the general public not recognizing Sakamoto Masayuki (V6's leader) as the best singer in Johnny's, comes the same question posed to Eito in the zolotte 7 part of Shiwake Eito!
cookiesmon posted this on her tumblr. Bless her! :)

In Johnny’s, who do you think is good at singing?
Hina - Matchy
Subaru - Domoto Tsuyoshi (KinKi Kids)
Okura - Sakamoto Masayuki (V6) Maru - Domoto Tsuyoshi (KinKi Kids)
Yasu - Nagase Tomoya (TOKIO)
Ryo - Sakamoto Masayuki (V6)
Yoko - Sakamoto Masayuki (V6)
Okay, truthfully, I forgot my rant, too. lol... I was thinking DoTsu.

PUZZLE Tour DVD!
Sep. 25th, 2009 08:54 pmYay! Puzzle Tour DVDs came today! I've only had a chance to watch the first disc so far, but I just LOVE this!!! I love that I get to see what great entertainers K8 are. From the gorilla manners opening and Musekinin Hero to the unit videos to the Eito Ranger skit...its all so fun and enjoyable!
Puzzle <ungh> I loved the chibi-ish photos of all of them. I damn near teared up, and I didn't even KNOW who K8 was just over a year ago. <lol> Next weekend my friend will come over and we will fangirl together. And she can translate for me. XD I wanted it to be THIS weekend, but unfortunately she has midterms next week. :p I, on the other hand, have my priorities. :D Kanjani Tour DVD trumps homework, although I have no midterms next week, so I have it easier.
I don't update my lj enough, but I don't say anything interesting anyway. :D

On the drama front, J & I finished Boss awhile ago (he got his Toda Erika fix). I've been dl-ing Koishite Akuma and Orthros no Inu, but haven't watched any of it. Too busy with school. Also, J has no interest. We are on episode 4 of Liar Game. I told him we should probably watch it because Liar Game 2 is coming up, and it has Toda Erika for him and Masuda Shota for me. :) And then there will be a movie, I guess.
Kay, that's all! Buy the Puzzle Tour DVD and watch it!
Be Hinative!
May. 4th, 2009 02:11 pmRL (specifically grad school) is getting to me. Too much stress because the semester ends in 2 weeks. But I was reading
enshinge 's translation of Kikujani Returns, and it just made me smile. So I resolve to be more positive, like Hina. XD
I'm still loving the hell out of Puzzle.♥ What a great album! And News on Shokura was great. I've professed my love for fansubbers in my opening post, and many times I'm thinking of
newshfan . She cranks out so much goodness, including Sunday's Shokura.
Posts about New's Koi no ABO online also revealed another person I love: zopp-san! See, when I first heard (and saw a translation) of TegoMass' "Kiss Kaerimichi no Love Song," I fell in love with the sweet lyrics. Its such a cute song! I told my friend, "I'm in love with that lyricist, whomever he or she is." :D Turns out it was zopp-san. I hadn't connected zopp as the writer of all those News-related songs, although I like them, especially Seishun Amigo and Daite Seniorita. And its the combination of the lyrics and music that make me want to OD on the songs, of course, but for "Kiss.." alone...I just love him. And I only found out that he's thevictim object of my affection because someone translated what zopp said on his blog about "Koi no ABO." Which I guess shows that I spend entirely too much time surfing online. lol
By the way, Hikari-san also has my love and admiration, starting from the time Nagase and Taiichi performed "Southend" on The Shounen Club Premium. With Hikari, its probably more the music because the lyrics, at least in "Southend" are....how to say this... indirect? alliterative? confusing? :D But Eito's "Eden" and "Tabibito" are winners, as is.....shoot....the TakiTsuba song I also love slipped my mind. (Edit: it wasn't TakiTsuba, but Tackey: Negai. Also a pretty song, but I like Green and Southend much better.) Oh, and Ryo's Half Down on Puzzle, of course. Yay (panda!) for Hikari.

Did I mention I love Puzzle?
Apr. 20th, 2009 11:41 amI received Puzzle Thursday the 16th! I didn't avoid exposure to the album beforehand, but it was nice having it (them) in my hot little hands. :) I love, love, love the song Puzzle! I'm finding myself drawn to the ballads for now. Maybe because I'm sick and stressed at the mo'. >___< But Puzzle, Kawaita Hana, My Last Train, even the country sounding Donna ni Hanaretetatte Soba ni Iru Kara <breath>... love 'em all. Maybe because it shows Eito's depth compared to just listening to their singles.
I have to say, though, I smile SO much listening to Maru's Wan Shan Ron Pin. And I didn't even understand most of it when I first listened to it. When I read that the song title was his name in Chinese, I knew it would be fun. And I was not disappointed! I love listening to Maru's solo and Yoko's solo, 413man best. I'd read a translation of 413man before I heard it, so I was already predisposed to loving such a touching tribute to Yoko's Superman jii-chan. :)
