Drama List )

So...finals ended a few weeks ago, and I've had more time to download and watch jdramas and tv shows!  I updated my drama list a little, but still have a couple to add.
It seems force feeding Johnny's stuff down my poor husband's throat is wearing him down.  He will now watch a pv or performance clip if I ask him to.  Its especially good if its a drama theme song he knows.  He also doesn't mind watching Tokio because they are band.  Of the groups I watch often, he likes Arashi least because he doesn't like Johnny's "trying to dance like Michael Jackson."  Understandable.  :D

But to the dramas - we watched the whole Bloody Monday series.  I think only our second one with no Johnny's.  First was Love Shuffle.  We had a good laugh about how sad it was that Third Eye was so inept that Japan has to rely on high school students to save them.  Every episode we were wondering, "Don't they want to give protection to this guy?" "Why do they only send 2 or 3 agents to raid the terrorist headquarters?" "You mean they don't have back-up ready?  The back up unit is that far away?" "Don't they want to evacuate?"  "MOVE! Don't just stand there (over)-acting all angsty!" "It's really not Third Eye's fault.  Blame the writers!"  :)  So, in a way, we had fun watching this.  And we did watch to the end to see how the story resolved.

We started "Dragonzakura" last night.  Watched the first two episodes.  Looks like we'll continue with this one.  Has Yamapi (aka "poor old soggy") for me and Aragaki Yui for J.  This is the first thing I've watched with Koike Teppei in it.  And we saw one episode of... I can't think of it... "Hallelujiah Chance".... so that also had Nagasawa Masami.  J didn't like her in (oh, got it!) Propose Daisakusen as much, though.  (At least, not in that first episode we saw.)

I really only want this to be one dimensional.  The TakkiTsuba, Kanjani, Arashi, etc. stuff.  But real life makes me laugh too, so...here's a combination.  Here's a list of dramas I've watched so far.  And my skeptical but indulgent husband's reaction (I'll call him J).  My choices are kind of all over the place.  I've only been fangirling these people since... August 2008, so this has been like my own version of Stumble Upon.

Incidently, to the whole Johnny's/J-Pop thing, J is understandably, like, "J-Pop?  Srsly?  WTF?!?  Okay, let's never speak of this outside these walls...."   Lol....poor J.  But he agrees to sit down and watch JDramas with me.  Sometimes even asks for them.  So, the list so far:

1.  Ryusei no Kizuna.  Amazingly, J's favorite so far.  He likes Cold Case Files and the like, so maybe the slim connection to a "cold case" does it.  Also, Toda Erika is cute.  J can't handle the title in Japanese, so this is "The Three Siblings."  (Has to do with how I "pitched" the drama to him to get him to watch it.)  So now, because he couldn't care less about Arashi or Kanjani8 or News (which is why I decided to watch it), Nino is referred to as "Koichi."  And Dokkun is "Taisuke."  He doesn't know them unless I identify them by their RnK characters.

Hmm.  Okay, just RnK took longer than I expected.  Will do the others later.  Spring Break after today.  YAY!!!!!
